April 9, 2015 Chapter 6 Questions
1. Using a smart board in your classroom can help you reach students who are further behind by having hands on learning touching the board to solve problems.
2. Projects in classrooms are hardly completed alone. In the common world, teamwork is essential to society.
3. A great benefit of having a smart board is to be able to connect with students by having interactive activities on the board that keep students interested.
4. Keeping it interesting, colorful and interactive will be essential to a smart board project.

Section 5 Questions
1. It stimulates the senses making students get more involved, it promotes learning that you can do by being active, provides students learning in 21st century skills, shows what types of media are legal to use, and offers non-linear thinking for the student.
2.The difference between linear and non-linear learning is that linear learning is like reading a book, following a set guideline on what to learn, and non-linear learning is like clicking on a hyperlink to go to whatever you want to learn and learning at your pace.

1. Critically thinking is our ability to tell what is true or false. It helps students filter out information.
2. A database is used to look up information and a spreadsheet is used to calculate.
3. By using a spreadsheet you can better understand and solve problems. Also, spreadsheets are dynamic making it easy to change things quickly.
